Recommended Posts

HAS is available to people receiving the maximum rate of the Age Pension, Disability Support Pension or Carer Payment, or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Service Pension or Income Support Supplement who do not have access to digital TV. Centrelink is writing to eligible people across the region inviting them to opt in.

The reason for HAS is to prevent those with very little money to continue to watch TV after the analog switchoff. I note from you list of equipment you are not on a full pension!

Note they do not replace the TV set. The antenna is only replaced if reliable reception cannot be obtained.

Allo I thought, there going to send round someone to mow the lawns and do the housework.

And it turned out to be that Prat Con-roy going on about nothing. Still there's a Black and White

9 inch Tellie somewhere under the house, may-be they will trade it for a 60 inch Plasma.
