G'day laurie,

Some have suggested it'll be March before that happens, which makes sense, as this AFLW contract is not the same as the AFL contract (which in some ways is a shame)

G'day,

Round 3 of AFL Womens won't feature a Friday night match, possibly because of the JLT series. In some respects, it might be seen as the Womens sports play second fiddle, but I'm certain this isn't the case in this sport, where the Men are playing a 4:40pm game on Saturday as a curtain raiser to the Women

Saturday: G.W. Sydney v Fremantle - First Bounce: 12:05pm AEDST - 9:05am AWST

Played At: Blacktown International Sportpark, Sydney

LIVE To:

W.A. including Perth at 9am on 7mate

Nationwide at 12pm AEDST on Fox Footy and HD (11:30am ACDST - 11am AEST - 10:30am ACST - 9am AWST)

Saturday: Brisbane v Collingwood - First Bounce: 3:35pm AEST - 4:35pm AEDST

Played At: South Pine Sports Complex, Brisbane

LIVE To:

Nationwide at 4:30pm AEDST on Fox Footy and HD (4pm ACDST - 3:30pm AEST - 3pm ACST - 1:30pm AWST)

Saturday Night: W. Bulldogs v Melbourne - First Bounce: 7:40pm AEDST

Played At: V.U. Whitten Oval, Footscray

LIVE To:

Tasmania including Hobart at 7:30pm on Southern Cross

N.t. including Darwin at 7pm on Southern Cross

Victoria including Melbourne at 7:30pm on Seven and Prime

S.A. including Adelaide at 7pm on Seven and Southern Cross GTS/BKN

W.A. including Perth at 4:30pm on 7mate

A.C.T. and N.S.W. including Sydney at 7:30pm on 7mate

Qld including Brisbane at 7:30pm on 7mate

Sunday: Adelaide v Carlton - First Bounce: 11:35am ACDST - 12:05pm AEDST

Played At: Thebarton Oval, Torrensville

LIVE To:

S.A. including Adelaide at 11:30am on Seven and Southern Cross GTS/BKN

G'day laurie,

I've seen this posted elsewhere and have been amused by what the AFL has done as well, it's almost like they aren't even aware that this IS an issue among customers and that they will cancel their subscription because it basically looks crap

But, I've got a phone, so all good :)

G'day Laurie,

Prime still doesn't have a HD channel - this NEEDS to change within 15 days otherwise there's no HD footy for regional Victoria, NSW, Gold Coast and I presume Western Australia

G'day,

It seems Seven have done a sneaky here, the AFL Womens site says Saturday Night games are on Seven's main channel for most areas, but it seems to have been flipped over to 7mate for those in Victoria, Tassie and N.T. with no word or promotion outside of the promos themselves on air. Still seems to be on Seven in South Australia (probably because of the teams playing) - but here's a point. It shouldn't matter which teams are playing, this DOES seem stupid, but does this mean Prime areas get HD content on 7mate?

I saw an ad on 7Flix here in Melbourne that said that 4Me had undergone a signal upgrade, and in order to receive it you have to do a retune, and it showed the steps to do that.
Perhaps they are referring to the switch to MPEG4/HE-AAC, but that happened months ago.

Fresh Ideas TV is off the air in Melbourne. There is no longer a Channel 78 on my TV.
According to yourtv.com.au the last program ended at 8:00 PM tonight (Sunday the 7th). After that it lists Program Discontinued with the detail Until further notice.
Looking at other places, it is ending at 8 PM local time, so Perth has a few hours to go.

      G'day,
It's the start of a new season, and I'm in the middle of writing the pre-season games on here.
