  1. Yes they were in their correct folder. My hard disc capacity was 320gb. and the BW has firmware 01.05.350. I replaced the HDD with a new 500gb which is working perfectly (touch wood), as is the external original HDD. Thought it was worth a try as sometimes the KISS approach works, especially when you are a senior female!!!! Regards, ValT
  2. I removed the hard disc, placed it in an external caddy, connected via usb to the DP 2, recordings were there and able to be watched. ValT.
  3. Sneferu, The Arion has a pull down door at the front where you will find a set of manual control buttons. Hope this helps. ValT.
  4. Hi Guys, Sorry to say this, but I set both news programs to record from EPG - start and end same times - and they both fired. The differences may be - I am in Qld (Sunshine Coast) and I have not bothered with latest update as everything was working perfectly. What did Bryan have to say about the situation? Regards, ValT.
  5. Check out avforums.com - loads of information. ValT

  7. Have a look at audiofix.com.au - they are on the Sunny Coast which would be reasonably close for you to visit. Regards, ValT.
  8. Do you have the correct TV OUT setting? Regards, ValT
  9. If you want ease of use, problem free, superb build, excellent customer support, great PQ, buy her a Digitalview 810. They just do everything they are supposed to do. ValT.
  10. Hi Austen, Female of few words!!! up until now hopefully. Sorry - I have posted 3 replies to no avail. The gremlins are not only in your Toshiba. I highly recommend the Digitalview 810. It is an excellent piece of equipment, great build quality, and it simply does whatever you ask it to do. It does not have ethernet connection but seems to meet all the requirements you listed. The customer support is the best I have ever experienced, nothing is too much trouble and they will go to great lengths to sort out any queries you may have. Have a read of the digitalview 810 thread and you will find many very happy customers. Regards ValT.
  11. Hi pyrobrewer, DJL Electronic Centre at Currimundi (Caloundra) has B&W's, Sonus Faber, and Sonique. Small one owner store, and the guy is a true audiophile. He does have a home theatre set up as well. Regards, ValT.
