Thank you, I will be getting the the screen. I didn't know about goo paint. But still want a screen fibre glass. It's just how big the screen is the question I'm facing at the moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks everyone, I have got the projector to give a try. still working out on the placements and PJ size. between the projector is awesome. can't expect beyond. because the room is bright, the light is reflective and making the full room bright, when I projected the apple TV its just like a mac screen. I'm loving it. TW9300 awesome. I'll give a few days on the wall without mounting the projector and speakers, once I found the best place for projector and speakers will be getting screen. oops I almost forget. I noticed the screen aspect ratio kept adjusting automatically, I mean based on the content, the screen keeps changing to cinemascope & 16:9 . not really sure working on the screen size with this. but it looks amazing when the lens auto adjust to the content playing. or I may be wrong technically but I noticed this behavior with TW9300.

Over this weekend I have put all together for action, my bad I have got 60cm of chute for cooling vent right at the centre of the room that left me a maximum of 3.4m throw distance. If this is the case I can change the projection wall into 4.5m because I will be getting the same throw distance with 3.5m wide. Also this gives me a space to walk without blocking the path. I'm not sure about 120" screen cinema scope now. I have kept 2.6m wide marking and had a difficulty watching all the ends without moving my neck/eyes with this distance. Though I have a wide wall I didn't have a enough distance to sit and watch. Any suggestions 3.5m length 4.5m wide room ( considered 3m to screen seating position Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks @:) al I hope 120'' cinema scope is not going to be a problem with EpsonTw9300 3.5M( projection wall wide) X4.5M ( room length).. I will see them in action in about a week time. by the way, our sound system doesn't support 4ksignals pass through, does that means I will have a problem? can't I get through? http://www.epson.com.au/products/projector/EH-TW9300.asp?groupid=127 https://www.pacifichifi.com.au/products/harman-kardon-blue-ray-disc-system-bds-880 optical cable or HDMI is the only source AV takes

Hmm does any one know why Epson Australia site triwdistabce calculator has not listed TW9300 but Tw9300W /8300W!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you al. Yes make sense your calculations. I thought the distance is based on the resolution on the screen. I guessed the size of the room that I have for a 120" screen a bit overkill. But if I get a better projector near to 4K with TW9300 so sitting at a distance of 3m perhaps works out. Thanks for the advice, yes do consider for a fixed screen with maximum of 120" CinemaScope. Position of the speakers are the corners of the room. And the mains are sitting on the extreme back of the room on a corner. Also to see everything in action first going to fix only projector and throw on the wall with speakers placement. Then going for projector screen. Just want to feel it the size of the screen that I might prefer before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks mate. They are HKTS top of the range from Harman Kardon since 2012 if I'm not wrong. They are amazingly giving astonishing sound. Been enjoying it past 2 years. They look so good build quality awesome. I see what you are saying, yeah down the line will be going for a floor standing speakers may be Klipsh. Hmm 120" would be the perfect size suiting to future needs I believe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm after home theater installation in Melbourne, How are the Bigpicture people, definitely they are expensive on the product costs, so buying it online some where else. As the products are backed up by manufacturer warranty.

That is is point to note. I didn't planned anything on the front wall except screen. hmm scope should definitely need the wall to be made dark. Majestic screen, are they made of fibreglass, is really material matters in relates to control the contrast? how about the grey ones to make room dark further, I'm not a big fan for dark rooms, but for theatre I need to.

Any idea on the screens? Majestic, Screentechnics, Grandview.. Was going through screen technics they do have a varities. I'm thinking of getting the one motorized fibreglass matt white.

I'm planning it for only movies, which the apple TV is connected to receiver/bluray (BDS). Mostly I will be playing youtube/netflix as of now, eventually plex when I setup media server
