  2. Item: Netgear Nighthawk R8000 X6 AC3200 router Location: Melbourne SE Price: $180 + postage (if required) Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: No longer required Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This unit was bought a year ago, but was only used for 6months with an old Netgear cable modem. It was packed away for a move and was just recently recovered :). At the new place,Telstra provided an ADSL Gateway Max modem with 2.4 & 5Ghz wifi. The 6x antennas, WiFi strength and range just c#$p's over the Gateway max and will suit bigger houses/double storey living areas. I have the original box, receipt, power pack and CAT5e cable that came with it. I can post it if required, if you pay for shipping. Pictures:

  6. Just bought the UB900 at $498 price matched from Hardly Normal. If I was going to spend $393 or $439..i'd pay more and get the UB900.
  7. Recommend me a Blu Ray Player

Just bought a Panasonic UB900 and the pic quality over my existing Oppo 103 is leagues ahead on 1080p. The oppo seems to apply some sort of aliasing effect to smooth out the picture, where as the UB900 doesn't and keeps the picture sharp and detailed. However, the UB900 is picky about the media files it plays. With the Oppo, no such issue at all...
  8. Putting the ram in was easy exactly like upgrading ram on a laptop. The hardest part was getting compatible ram but was easy enough once you knew the part number. I used Kingston. Oh and taking the NAS apart was fiddly but not impossible. Took me 20 mins to get it done.
  9. My trusty DS713+ is still kicking..been running 24/7 since 2013 on 2 WD Reds configured at Raid1. I did the Ram mod on the weekend and bumped it up to 4GB. Booted up and running like a dream. I was thinking of getting the DX513..but at this stage, its not needed yet..
  10. WTB: 2 or 5 Channel Power Amp (VIC)

    gwavz ..you have a PM.
  11. I have in the past bought Blue Jeans cables, they're great value for what you pay for, but there are better performing cables out there for not much more.
  12. Hi Webbsy, please include me in the pm list for this GB. Thanks!
  13. Yep, a darkened room will certainly help against that reflective screen.
  14. Ditto! ST60 is much better in brighter room viewing. The louve filter works a treat in my room where i get a good dose of the late afternoon sun.
