Dear TEACSTB,
I’m having an intermittent problem with my B300, I had the box for over 12 months and it’s been running v1.07 Software, for around 5 or 6 weeks. When I press the ‘event’ button for the now and next info, the box makes a loud pop then a black screen and reboots to channel 7. Or if I’m really lucky I get a mosaic of pink, green and white before getting a solid green screen of death and a reboot to channel 7. I’ve reinstalled the software using a different computer and cable but it sill happens every now and then. any ideas?

Would it also be possible to use the tv/stb button (which I think is unused) to toggle between television and radio mode? Granted there are only a few stations at the minute but hopefully more will get added in the future. And what about a screensaver in radio mode rather than a black screen?

I’d also like to thank TEAC Australia for supporting the people who buy their products both on this forum and with it’s software updates. Well done.

Regards,
bigM

You cant "back flash" the unit to a more stable version of software? I dont know if you can, but the BIOS in computers is backwards flashable. Perhaps the STB is too? Untill a newer version of the STB software comes out, I would revert to a more stable version. cool.gif
