Full Version: Win / Go! Time Signal Running Very Slow

FYI. I've called WIN TV in both Canberra and Wollongong and let them know that there are problems with their time signals being broadcast, at least here in the Canberra area.

It's 15:12 on the 3rd here but WIN / GO! are both showing 20:12 on the 2nd.

The lady at reception in Wollongong didn't have any contacts to transfer me to but she seemed to be aware of a problem last week where WIN was "running fast" and she will email a contact she has for these problems.

The only way around, I've found, is to tune onto any other channel not originating from WIN TV / GO! and wait for it to recognise the correct timestamp and then see if you can set your TV/STB/PVR/??? so that the time is manually controlled and doesn't change when you go back to WIN.

I have a cheap little TV that, although it allows me to set the time and "lock" it manually, it still seems to look at the station's time signal and insists on telling me I'm watching something from last night.

Good luck.

To be fair the universe gets out of wack with WIN almost as often as WIN does with the universe - its not all WINS fault.
