I've been noticing for about a week now that SD ABC1 and SD ABC2 have been pixelating and jumping around - don't know about SD ABC3 because I don't watch it. This evening I decided to check all my cable connections and they all seem fine, so I did a rescan with my Topfield TF4410PVRt and now it won't find ANY of the SD ABCs. They used to be 21, 22 and 23 but the Topfield scan just misses these numbers completely. All other SD channels are fine and I can still get ABC1 as an analogue signal.

Ideas?

This is the longest that I've seen it down for in a while.

You've lost them too? I've just tried using my old Panasonic TU-CT20A STB and still no ABCs.

I had to make an emergency washing machine purchase today and the purse-strings wouldn't have coped with replacement AV gear or a visit from a Mr Fix-It.

I guess the ABC were doing something or other on Tuggers Hill.

ABC has been a bit glitchy for me over the past week.

Yeah, for me too - to the point of being very annoying. I hope what they did last night was a fix for it. It's always a relief, though, to find out other folks are having the same problems - it means it's not my AV stuff at fault

After lodging a complaint with the ABC re the quality of their digital service in tuggeranong i got call this morning telling me that major work was being done on their transmission facilities and disruptions could be expected until at least Friday

Could be worse. My boss lives in Captains Flat and their analog translator has just been fixed after being off-air for 2 or 3 weeks.

Tuggeranong Hill !?

on ... off ... on ... off ... leads to some very confused customers and some pissed off techs. On too many occassions the guys will get through the site survey, finish the install and try to do the final test and there's no ABC or it's pixelating like crazy rendering any signal readings useless.

It will get better soon.

Yep, the phone was running pretty red hot today with complaints. It's good fun trying to work out a genuine complaint from a broadcast issue. Patience is a virtue.

good to know it's not just me. All my channels disappeared last night for a few minutes but that might have been my STB. Prime is very jumpy most of the time but the others are okay.
