Hi Guys!

i recently bought a Sammy and to my delight, discovered i was eligible for a free TV. only prob is that i now have 3 tvs and only 2 outlets!

Bunny ears don't work well in my house, so i will have to install a new outlet.

WHo would u recommend?

Kaz can do it for $95 (if the existing antenna is powerful enough).

i also asked about wiring for a home network and they quoted $135 per outlet.

Anyone has any suggestions?

Those prices are quite reasonable and they have a good reputation for quality work.

is there any way of bypassing the need for an outlet?

You have said you need another outlet for the third TV.

If you now wish to 'bypass the need' then you either only use two TV's, or use bunny ears on the third TV which are unreliable.

$95 is actually cheap for an additional outlet, cable, connectors, splitter and labour to install it.

After all, you got the TV for free, so if you can't do the job yourself, then $95 is a bargain.

true.... tongue.gif

just want to explore all options before finalising it...

main worry is that i m moving my existing 37" LCD into my formal lounge where the third outlet is being considered. Haven't actually "lived" there yet (mainly a storage room ... for 6 years!!) so not sure where to place it. The One Who Holds The Whip might not be happy wif certain locations, so trying to add some flexibility. Might go wif the bunny ears and trial a few sites before we install a proper outlet

Thanks for everyone for advice tho!

work in progress
sigh....

oh well, at least it will keep me out of mischief for the moment!

We got the lads from Kaz out the other day. They installed another three bedroom outlets and upgraded by roof splitter to be 'industry compliant'. Good service and very professional guys! Would recommend!!

David.
