Hi all,

Just after anyones opinion of the:

Just got a HDMI cable with a playstation 3.

It reads: E213967 AWM 20276 80c 30v VW-1 EVER GREAT

Is it 1.3b?

What is the quality of this cable?

Anyone used one and how do you find it compared to EZYHD cables?
Be running it into a LX-508

Regards

Very good question!, i was looking for a high speed HDMI cable for my blu ray player last year, and found that MOST retailers don't sell cables with any info on HDMi cable ratings .However H/N,good guys,Domayne, etc. sell hugely overpriced cables that give a speed rating.
I bought a high speed brand name cable at wholesale price through a industry contact.
I would think ALL HDMI cables should display a rating.
Cheers

You might be interested in checking out this site for cables and accessories:

I have ordered numerous things from these guys, including HDMI cable for connection to PS3. Seems to work great with my gear.
Please note that the prices are in US Dollars though you can pay with Pay Pal and its free shipping anywhere in the world.
Hope that helps.

I bought my first from JB's when they had the $25 ones and no problems with that. The next was $26 from a swapmeet in Melb and no problems either. Both currently in use with HD PVR's.

Picked up an Arlec one from either Kmart or BigW (cant remember which) But it was under $20 and does the job.

Definitely a pleasant shopping experience with great after sales service if one needs to use it.

Always highly recommended and it's local.
