hey guys
not sure if this is the right category for this!
I have a projector in my garage and want to get TV to it.
My house is approx 20metres away from it.
Is it ok to just get a massive length of cable and run it from the big roof mounted aerial on my roof to the garage? I'm already doing that with ethernet.
Not too cluey on tv cable so not sure of distance limitations etc.
I have a hd set top box I'd want to plug it into.
thanks heaps

Shouldn't be any dramas - just make sure you use quad shielded cable. I have TV outlets all over my house and most runs would be 15-20m from the splitter in the roof

If there is sufficient signal at the antenna there shouldn't be any issue. If the signal isn't strong enough to run 20+ metres a mast head amp will take care of that. So long as your shed's mains earth is good there shouldn't be any problems.
