Just been looking on the panasonic website
Saw the existing bluray recorder DMRBW500
Then new models DMRBW750 and DMRBW850

I did a compare and except the obvious hard drive size on the one couldnt see differences.
Now maybe I missed something.
So can someone who knows the jargon of what all the little abreviations mean, tell a novice like me what the differences are

Also does anyone know the prices of the new ones especially the smaller hard drive one.
So I can work out value wise the best model that would suit me should I decide to get one.

I wonder if they will bring out a home theatre pack with one of these other than the ones with the bluray player only????????

added - they have to keep those poor Panasonic slaves making something during this recession. And its probably got a small new sticker somewhere on the case.

Yes I get your meaning I suppose they have made subtle cosmetic changes to enable the new model number but the internal working are the same.
OH well I may as well wait till the new ones come out my mum wants one too so maybe we can bargain when buying 2.
I think I will wait a while for more stores to get them in to help my case
You never know they may have a promotion!

The new models will play divx,have bonus view and BD-live capabilities and viera cast for you tube and picasa web albums.
