I know it must be a very basic question but I m real dumb in the field of DTV. I have Arion 3030 (from old selectv subscription). Is it possible to use this to watch channel one. I tried but it always ask for satellite name for search. Please advice if its possible?

I need to buy one stb which can have blind scan function as I tried a lot with the 2.3 m dish I connected in my backyard. It never show any channel. ppl suggested me to purchase a new stb with blind scan to make everything easy. Please advice if you know any one which is good for the FTA channels (I dont need pvr or any kind of recording ones).

I don't have any answers but I think you need to give us more info such as your location.
It seems you want to pickup FTA via sattellite and am pretty sure thats not possible.
