Hi all,

just wondering what cheapie STB's have RF modulators built in. I know the picture quality is crappy with RF, but for people that don't have any free scart, composite or svideo connections on the tv, they don't have a lot of choice.

Thinking about trying the jaycar rf modulator to see if that works ok.

thanks in advance.

The Strong 5290 PVR has a RF modulator, you can get them cheap on Ebay & Forums and the SD STB side of things works fine,Rec. can be a bit of a lottery but mine is still going and everything works OK after 6 Years, its connected to my Plasma(sits under and used as a clock) via S. for old time sake.
