If you want cheap. then Coles have an MTV SD box for $29.

Bush HD STB is a pretty good unit going from the one I helped setup for a mate - $79 from GGs and $99 from DSE
BSTO
Coles MTV $49.
8 early ones and two a tad later at $39.

I have the 10 as off air monitors on TV sites all over, just to check we are on the air.
They all run at A/V.
They never lock up and never need resetting.

Over a year now since buying them.

Every month I go on the sites and the STB is chugging away no problems.
This is with all power glitches, a/c turning off and on and power outages.
The Digest function is great can get instant look if all services are on air.

Cant ask for more than that.

For HDTV the Aldi box was cheap and cool.
Only have the one and use it to check quality and s/s.
It pixilates when someone turns on a fluoro light.

Have one Strong using RF heap of junk, lousy quality.
