I have found that most sticky residue on cases cleans off with a rag and some methylated spirits

If it's that bad, you can buy new cases online here, shipping is free

I must be stupid. I spent $8 to buy some special glue to fix one broken case as normal crazy glue won't work on those plastic.

Just checked them out which size do i need the Economy (12mm) or the Amaray Premium (14mm)
Mr. RKD
That pcx link is real good, they had a 6 disc case for sale which is what I have been looking for.

I was wondering though, if anybody knew of a place that sold 3 disc blu ray cases (either online or in Melbourne) and, if possible, a place that sells a clear, thick 7 disc dvd case, either online or in Melbourne.

Thanks for your help

Hi
I contacted PCX and they sent me a sample of the two single Blu Ray Cases they have for sale
The 14mm case with an embossed Blu Ray logo and looks the same as the ones you get now with your blu ray and has the same disc holder in the middle which can break easily.
The Economy is 11mm, the Blu Ray logo is printed on the case in silver and has a better disc holder.
I would buy the economy 11 mm but if you want to keep them all the same then get the 14mm one.
Cheers
Johnny....Boy
Ive had a few cases break (just the teeth that hold the disk in)

just took it to JB with a recipt from a some random bd i bought and they swaped it over no drama's...

suppose this really doesn't help if your after completely new cases. Still its a option if your case is dead

Theres a few lots of Replacment amaray bluray cases on ebay.
But check prices because some cost more than others

PCX is probably the best option. Very reasonable prices and they'll be in the mail to you in a couple of days. I've bought quite a few to replace the "sticky" Amazon cases. Quality is exactly the same as your standard retail cases. The slim cases are just a tiny bit wider than the US style cases, and square on the edges rather than rounded.

Cheers.

Yes - I just bought a heap of BD cases from PCX this week (on the strength of the recommendation in this thread); fast delivery & prices seemed good; quality of product is excellent too.

If it's only the sticky residue from removing stickers that's the problem, I use "goo remover" - a small spray bottle from Coles or Woolies (and most others probably). Spray a bit on the end of my finger, rub it on the spot and it dissolves right off. I hate stickers on anything, have to get them off straight away! This stuff works really well.

Spoke with PCX yesterday - they said they will soon be stocking BD cases which hold 2 x BDs (in about a few wks time they said) in addition to what they already stock - their pricing is certainly far cheaper than what u find on ebay - http://www.pcx.com.au/products/index.asp?sx=blu,case,-media

There's also these guys - http://www.kestonholdings.com.au/search.ph...17&type=cat

i just go into sanity every couple of weeks and ask if they have any spares
they generally hand 3 or 4 cases for me, no charge.

Ordered 6 slim cases from pcx on Tuesday afternoon and received in a box well packed today. 2 days delivery is no joke. End up about $1.50 each.

I've been looking for cases to replace some US cases that are damaged but they are thinner than the standard 14mm cases in Australia. Would the PCX economy cases do to replace US cases?
