hi can anyone tell me if there is a dedicated area for discussing digital reception in motor vehicles,whilst traveling for pasengers of couse, if not can anyone advise of any decent quality receivers it seems hitv, or hong kong, nothing in between,so i'm not game to spend $1000 if 2or300 will do it and don't want $150 hk rubish that won't work either, help! thx joe

There's been a few threads on the subject over the past few years.

Basically, the Australian digital TV system of DVB-T is exteremly unreliable for mobile use.

Another system, DVB-H has had a few trials and there is another one currently happening in Sydney with Optus mobile phone customers, using a particular model Nokia phone (N96 I think)
