Wanting to buy an external HDD to extend storage space on my topfield hdpvr. Was thinking may be a Maxtor Basic 1tb or maybe a WD My book essential 1tb. Any ideas on which way I should go. Have no experince with these.

I would read the various ext. HDD threads on the itopfield Forum, i've included a link to the latest one that i've been following but there are plenty of others,if your questions are still not answered then Post a topic asking for help over there.
