Will this Receiver's Amp run a set of two, ex JVC floor mounted Stereo Speakers comprising each, 2.5" Tweeter, 5.0" Mid Range and 10.0" woofer, each fed by a Red & White bi-wire pair, currently from JVC Analog Amp, circa 1985?

Additionally can I run a new Sony Turntable (with switchable pre-amp & Red & White RCA plugs into a pair of the Audio Inputs)?

Some advice on the hookup/s would be appreciated ;)

If YES on both counts, I'll buy one ex Retravision or similar store. (No-one can give me a straight answer on this.)

My main "theatre" room is somewhat small and I've recently started upgrading with a Panasonic 42" Full HD Plasma TV, plus a Panasonic Blu-Ray Recorder/Player.

To go the whole 9 yards for Surround Sound, I'll need to buy new furniture for Stand plus reconsider room layout.

I'm relatively new to the AV revolution, but an old stager who learns fast (note lack of Jargon.)

Thanks for that. I've currently d/loaded the manual & trying to figure the right connections. Maybe the guys at Retravision could confirm what I need to know. Incidentally, they have to order it in for $750.00. Poss take a couple of weeks?

Enjoy your Aust Day hol.
