Hey there
I hope you guys can give me some advice
I own a samsung region A player, tried to sell it, but the offers were a joke so looks like I am stuck with it for now
I want a REGION B machine that can be modded in future (or now)
I have a receiver RX-v3900 so I need only a 35 or 350
Both are 2.0 (think)
and Both can be MULITZONED BLURAY
which is the BETTER machine
I hear the SONY is a FAST LOADER
but also the panasonic has great reviews
What are the users thoughts.
I may modd it now, and pull out the samsung, but I also feels its a bit of a waste of money if I can use the Sammy huh.gif

Leaving aside multizoning Odel [may as well use the sammy until you sell it] the pana has better sd scaling [the uniphier chip is coming good ]. Sony is a faster loader if you let it draw the juice wink.gif

Thanks for the reply
I went to Domayne tonight and picked up the (drum roll please) Panasonic BD35...
I chose it due to the reviews I read on the net, here and elsewhere, I am also happy I have the option to MOD in future.
I got it with a 1 gig sd card for $402.00
Very happy

As you will be bitstreaming to the Yammy you made the right choice.
Also the Mod or the BD35 is a far easier excersice than that of the Sony 350
