Both these AVR's are on special,which one to choose,the Onkyo is $150 cheaper,and I have never owned a Yamaha.

Guys, Which one is better? Can you please give advise as its hard to know which salesperson to believe when you know they make commissions. Thanks

Both are very good units - for the money - but if it were me, I would select the Yamaha '863, mainly because it is a more musical unit.
