I just bought an Omni DVB-101 SD STB yesterday at a garage sale.
It's Standby msg says its firmware is from 2003!!

It has a 9 pin "DATA PORT" on the back.
I guess it's RS-232.
But I wonder if updates are available for it.

Anyone here had experience with this model??

Is there a Channel 10 guide?
If so, I've lost mine, simply by moving channels!!
I've tried to manually tune it in, but it keeps saying "Tuning failure" when I try.
Yet, it can auto tune.
But if you auto tune, then auto tune again, you get twice the amount of saved channels, so you have to go and delete all the 30 odd other ones you don't want!!
