I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the "Digital TV Tuner Cards & Network Media Players" forum but as it a review I have placed it here.

I have recently built a new HTPC and have a fair bit of experience with DVB-T cards, but the quality of this Dvico one has prompted me to comment on it.

So down to the actual review. Installation was a breeze. Install software and drivers. Shut down system. Install PCI-E card and reboot. Scan for channels and configure the card. This all took about 10 minutes.

The software reports a signal of 100% and 32+dB on every channel. Whilst in TV mode it is the most glitch-free picture I have ever seen. Edited around a dozen recorded DVR-MS files with VideoRedo over the last week or so and there have been no errors reported in the files.

The card works faultlessly with WebScheduler and FreeEPG (a rather old version that I really like).

I'm using the old Dvico remote settings on my Harmony 525 as the new remote doesn't appear to be at Logitech's website yet.

Now if I could just get my HTPC to play back DVD and MPEG2 as well as my Oppo 983 I'd be a happy man.

thanks for the review Alfred!

I am looking at some similar cards and this was quite helpful...

Yes it does. I don't understand "how well?". It just does it without any fuss.
