Anyway I see Apple has started selling and renting movies on the Australian iTunes store. SD Rentals for 3.99 and HD rentals (720p) for 4.99, and SD purchases range from 9.99 to 24.99 depending on the titles age).

About time.

Not that I can justify those costs myself. Quickflix pretty much gives me all I need and if I'm desperate for a movie fix NOW, I can go looking through Hulu for free movies. maybe if the content was platform agnostic I'd feel a little better about it. Still...good to see Apple do it. Hopefully Microsoft and Sony will follow up.
