Just never see too much activity, and with format "wars" over the reason for this forum being created I am not sure still exists? The arguments over which is better and why really don't matter anymore. The general issues could IMO go into the Blu-Ray or HD DVD forums as required. Just might save some space and people searching for threads? Just a thought as I rarely look in here now myself.

I think the general one could go without too many tears or tantrums. At the same time, the HD DVD section could be pared down to the trading and the cheap discs threads without anyone really noticing.

I'd have to agree with that.

Although we'd have to find a home for the good traders sticky.

Kazz is right some threads need to be retained like the Good Traders.

I don't see a major point in having this sub-forum either becasue most stuff nowadays (bar the Good Trader's Thread as Kazz suggested) tends to fit in another exisitng sub-forum.

Would free up the boards a bit as well i would imagine.

Not quite true. I had Colour TV from the day I was born. But then moved to Australia in 74 and recall asking my mum why we couldn't afford a colour TV anymore. Took me a while to understand it was'nt as simple as going to the shop and buying one.
