my Sansui SAN0218 160gb has died for the 2nd time(once under warantee now again just outside)
same fault ---failed recording/searches for a non existant disc/ redlight on front on and "hello" in the screen
..finally after a few reboots it just refuses anything and shuts down
...dunno if i want to fix it again and hopefully upgrade
(have a TOPPY 5000 to take care of digital)
....so i was wondering what other MAKES use the same encoding, so can read my 250GB HD
as i have good stuff on the hard drive
