Hi,
I had posted this in the SD Set Top Boxes but feel it should be here, hopefully get an answer.
Have now decided to keep my Opentel 4200, so fitted a new HDD.
I have firmware Ver 2.04 loaded, does anyone know if there is a later Ver., and if so from where can I download it?

Grrrrr
I bought my Opentel ODT4200 from Kristal about 4 years ago... Their download page is here http://www.kristalelectronics.com/firmware.php and it currently points to v2.27 (2 years old) here http://www.kristalelectronics.com/opentel/...27-20060503.zip

Fairly sure I'm running it at home now, and it's a minimal improvement. The only real annoyance is that while you're recording something, every time you go into the EPG it changes from my favourites (channels) back to the complete list, HD channels and all.

Which HDD did you fit to it? It working OK? I read something about them not liking a HDD larger than 80g. When I tried to put in a 60gb IBM/Hitachi I had lying around, it complained and wouldn't even format it, IIRC.

So, which version did they send you? If it's newer than 2.27 perhaps you can upload it?

What HDD did you put in, and is it working OK?
