Just curious, and I think I know the answer already......BUT....I'm getting a new Sony RDRHXD870 DVD/HH/SD all in one recorder and have a question regarding outputs. I want to run the HDMI output to the bedroom and component output//analog audio to the lounge room TV (which doesn't have HDMI, but does RGB). Basically my question is, do all output work at the same time, or can I only have one set of outputs running at one time??

Only reason I ask, is that I have a Wintal PVR and you have to actually select which output you are using (Composite, RGB or SVHS).....If not selected correctly, you get a dodgy b+w picture or nothing at all.
