Hello Everyone,

I was hoping some members could give me some advice on connecting my new dvd recorder. Such as which units need to be connected to each other etc

I also have the following units and need to know the best way to connect all the units in order to get the best use out of them all

* Foxtel
* DVD/VCR Combo
* I also have a wall antenna (not sure if this changes anything)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Mr.Bitey
Depends what can be plugged into what smile.gif

What connections (in and out) are available on each?

Does the dvd-recorder have a digital tuner?, and hard drive?

Cheers,

It would help if you mentioned what input and output connections the recorder has (perhaps make/model also).

What you want to do with it... record from Foxtel, DVD/VCR combo, output to a screen.... what connections are available on the screen?

Are you using a surround sound receiver?... with analogue and or digital audio?.... optical or coaxial connections?

Are you using a FTA digital set top box or built in tuner in your screen and wish to record from those? etc, etc.
