Hi Beyonwizzers. I have been really interested in picking up a Beyonwiz, but have not had the budget to do it. As I already have an external hard drive, it seems that the SP-H1 unit is a great cheap (but alas, not cheap enough!) option.

I was wondering if any forum members who have already purchased the S1 or P1 who do not plan to take advantage of the half-price offer for the H1 here http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/redemption_offer.asp could help me out.

It seems that you can still use the offer to get a half price LiDiC or remote control through a single order.

I would be more than happy to pay some $$ to anyone who is able to help out a forum contributor by adding an H1 to their LiDiC/ Remote redemption order. As a bonus, if there is anyone out there buying the LiDiC, you can get the remote for FREE if you allow me to combine the H1 order with your LiDiC order.

Cheers,

You do realise that the H1 is only a single tuner PVR when you add the drive?

Oops. No. I didn't realise that actually. Hmmm. May not be such a brilliant idea then.... I already have an SD single tuner and another SD PVR. Was trying to consolidate with an HD twin tuner.

:-(

That said, for $299, with all the networking functions, it is a sensational deal......

I am in 2 minds. Continue the mess of multiple boxes for a bargain price, or leave it.

Not sure....

Having a DP-P1 with dual tuners, there's no way I'd ever go to a single tuner. I was considering purchasing the H1 for use in another room and stream content from the P1, but even at $299 I couldn't see myself using it often enough to warrant the purchase....spending money to save money wacko.gif ...I'm starting to sound like the Mrs going on a shopping spree winky.gif

Like you say, $300 for a HD PVR Ready box with media player functions is a pretty good deal though....
