Do either the Pioneer LX60 or Panasonic EX87 have 2 x scart inputs? I want to connect & record from my Topfield & Fox box via scart rather then RCA.

Appreciate any help.

Cheers

Both the Pioneer and the Panasonic have 1 scart input and 1 scart output.

Thanks diesel, but do you know this from owning one? Both (pano & pio)are labelled as AV1 & AV2. The Pioneer has a picture like a screen with an arrow pointing out & one with an arrow pointing both in & out. I have been told by a guy who installs for pioneer that this 'both ways arrowed' AV is switchable, he was confident, (but he wasn't 100%) it could be used for 2 inputs.
Hense my hope that some one who owns one has some info.

Cheers

My knowledge is only from seeing them on display in store and reading the manual...no actual ownership

At least you've seen a manual then! Can't download one from the Pioneer site. Looks like its 1 in (switchable to out) & 1 out.
Thanks

The 550HXS manual is on the Pioneer site. Essentially the same unit.

EDIT: I just downloaded the LX60D manual from the Pioneer UK website and it doesn't look like the scart is a switchable AV.

Right again! 1 in, 1 out. Bugger! Still can't get my head around why these things only have 1 decent input, with the rest being RCA's. Leaving themselves somewhere to go I guess.

Thanks diesel
