Hi everybody. I have an LG LST-5402P HD PVR. Despite my bagging it in the past I have become used to it & it's limitations & I now quite like it. The only difference I can find between this & the LST-5403P is the larger Hard Drive, 160gig vs 250gig. I have been able to ascertiain that the hard drives are standard Seagate units, the 250gig is a model ST3250823ACE. Has anyone tried to fit a larger hard drive of, say, 250 gig to the smaller LST-5402P machine ? If so was it a success ? OR maybe an even larger Hdd, maybe 500gig ? I assume there would be some formatting of the drive required, possibly done by the unit it's self ?
If anyone has done this I'd be very interested in hearing from you. Please email me .. pjc01@iprimus.com.au
Thanks,
Samgalah.
