Homezone at SupaCenta, Moore Park have 'em on display and ticketed at $2999, less for haggle.

Saleman of Retravision in Ryde offered me $2799 and delivery cost is $20. Is it a good price? By the way, is it worth to spend only a few hundred dollars to buy the Pannasonic TX86PW200A instead?

Please advice!

Thanks!

I know you're in Sydney, but if Harvey Norman in Melbourne can sell it for $2600 on credit card, surely Sydney stores can too. It was in the Nunawading store and included delivery. On Friday 4/6/04.

So has anyone here actually bought this TV? I had a quick look at a set in HN Maribyrnong and while the picture looked quite good the colour was pretty washed out, due no doubt to a poor set-up.

I'm particularly keen to find out if anyone here has managed to get 1080i to output using the VGA input. The specs say a maximum of 768p via VGA but manual tends to indicate that 1080i is possible at 50Hz and I think the same applies to the 76cm version. Anyone tried? Any success? Any hints/tips of getting is to work?

Cheers
