There is a fair bit of trading/selling going on in this forum in particular, and in the forum in general.

As most of you are aware, I had a nasty incident involving a member attempting to defraud me of $500, and it took Gino months to get his money back after a sale "fell through".

I do not want this thread to be a place to list "dodgy" people to avoid. For a start I don't think the thread would last long as the thread of litigation would be too high, and secondly I would rather take the other approach and praise those who have been involved in honest and friendly transactions.

I would have put this in a General Forum, except we don't have one except for OT, and most people don't really venture there.

I will also ask to have this stickied and try and keep the first post updated with peoples comments.

Dealing with someone listed on this thread doesn't guarantee that things will go well, but it should at least make you feel more comfortable that things should.

I think that (hopefully) this is the clearest way to show the information.

I generally only buy here from someone who has at least 500 posts to their name (kind of arbitrary I know), is a regular and recent contributor, and someone who I believe wouldn't risk their forum reputation/integrity being sullied by a transaction gone sour. No guarantee of course but I haven't been burnt yet. But selling stuff I'm far less fussy of course as you can always wait for the cash to show up first before shipping.
