Hi,

I just bought this HD-DVR (shop display unit) the clock and program times are exactly 1 hour ahead of actual time (time zone is set correctly). the display on the front of the unit when powering up says Version 300-101. I have read in this forum that 108 is the latest firmware. Where do I download the firmware from, I can't find it on the LG web site. I left the unit running tuned to ch9 for 24hrs but no luck with the clock, also I did an auto rescan.

Regards

Missed this post. Would of been better posted in the PVR section. Perhaps mods can have this moved?

To answer your question, you need to take the unit to a service centre to get the fw upgraded. This should not cost you anything if the unit is still under warranty. You may have to part with it for a few days or if you are lucky, and they have it in stock, it could be done while you wait.

FW can also be upgraded by changing the mother board with the new fw already on it (which was how mine was done). This is apparantly a very cheap ~$30 part. Considering the age of your unit and that it was a demo, I would push for the service centre to put a new mother board in your unit.
