Hi Everyone...

*H*E*L*P!!!

I have been trying to record all of the Top Gear episodes. Last night, I didnt realize that the new series has started until about 8 oclock!!!

Is anyone out there able to help me?

Is it possible for someone to put last nights episode on dvd (either as .mpg or .avr) format?

I would gladly pay for costs etc.

Any responses appreciated.

Thanks.

Tony

Thanks for your help guys.

If possible though, I would prefer an mpg file (or avr) as when I put 3 episodes on one disc, the programs I use really hate it if the files are in different formats.

I may revert to this if all else fails but does anyone have the episode on file to be able to send to me by disc?

Regards,

Tony

You need to get it as it was excellent. The convertible people mover is an absolute classic - as is the dogs name.
Chimera
recorded most of it, definitely a keeper

Was it a new episode ? I thought I had seen parts of it before i.e. Stig's off road adventure with the Koenig thing.

I had the same thought I had definitely seen the Stig crash the Koenigsegg. I think this is the same series that BBC world had on Foxtel had last year. I seem to remember last year when BBC and SBS both had it on that I had seen the SBS ones before. Also in the promo for the series at the start of the show they showed a number of things I remembered.

By the way, I've also seen the one where koenigsegg give Stig a go in one that they have added a spolier to - won't say what happens.

2005 series according to website, first aired 27/05/2005 in UK! I don't have/never will have pay TV but my son reckons he's got the lot via BT, including ones that have not yet been fox'ed. We'll see. Great episode anyway!

Hi David,
I think there should be a 'Lost and Found' category to the forum for missed shows smile.gif.

It is a great resource. Sometimes a life-saver when the show wasn't for you, but the other half...

The Poxtel version is edited down to 30mins The SBS version NOW is edited down to fit in 5 or 6 bloody ad breaks!! angry.gif The only way to get a perfect unedited ad free show is to use the Bit Torrent from the Final Gear site. I have approx 30Gb of shows including specials and Jeremy C's own shows we will never see here on Ad riddled SBS.

There are reasons, why there isn't such a category. wink.gif
