]Hey Guys,

I have one of these set top boxes and noticed that the box is quite capable of displaying HD channels except after a second or so the HD channel screen block comes up. My question is, has anyone managed to hack this box to stop the blockage? or is there an updated firmware allowing this? seems odd to block it out. Well I know why they do it but it would be good if we could unblock it.

I might open it up and see what I see... wish me luck biggrin.gif

I wish you all the luck in the world.

The HD signals are not blocked, it's just the SD tuner isn't capable of decoding them.

What you see is an atttempt to decode the HD signals... but the design cannot process the HD data-rate.
