I live in Farrer and have the antenna pointing towards black mountain. That said, I don't have a clear line of sight to it.
Hi Kent
In Farrer you can toss a coin between Blk Mtn & Mt Taylor. If you wish to receive a reliable digital signal from Mt Taylor you will need to change your antenna to a band 5 UHF, as the freq are different from that translator. The antenna you are currently using for Blk Mtn "may" be ok for the digital freq. The problems with reception at the moment may be more the location of the antenna, type of cable, splitters, outlets, flyleads etc. It should be posible to receive all services from Blk Mtn, if you really want DTV sooner rather than later, consider getting an installer in to perform a site survey and give you a price.
