Hoping someone can help.

Bought a Hotchip 4000HD over the weekend and plugged it in. Ran the automatic tune and it came up with about 12 channels. It is missing Cannel 7, Channel 9, Channel 10 and SBS. It has a range of other random digital channels and ABC.

Have another television off the same antenna in another room and it picks up all channels. I have tried mannually tuning but no luck, not sure if I am doing it correctly though. If anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated.

You need to provide your location as a minimum then we may be able to offer a few suggestions. Picking up analogue does not mean you will automatically get digital. It could be a number of problems.

Tell us where you live. You may be in an area that only has ABC in Digital.

Sorry based in St Leonards. I can see he Artarmon antenna out the window and the other TV is running of a smasung box and it receives all channels. The built in tuner in the computer also gets all channels, ANy suggestions?

Connect it to one of the other antenna outlets that get all Digital channels. The signal strength might be too low where you have it now.

Is is possible that the tuner is more sensitive on this box than the other 2, and so the signal could be too strong, especially where you are. You may need a signal attenuater or whatever is is blink.gif
