I have a Hitachi 8800 and a DGTec 2000A HD stb running firmware 1.9
This is using Belkin PureAV component cables into my amp (which switches) and then into the TV.
I dont really have any problems with the operation of the STB although it has some minor quirks.
Question I have is, am i going to see a much improved picture upgrading to a better box like the Tosh HD-C26H? or the Sony? At the moment I *think* the picture is okay but have nothing really to compare it to, and watching units in the shops hardly seems a good comparison given that most of the stores seem to use splitters and panels which are not calibrated in any way.
