Are these TVs as good as the HD plasmas?

Bravia has been discussed many times under the heading Widescreen TV Monitors & Displays.

Using Search gives many posts by selecting “show by topic” or “show by post” (or something like that).
Search is on the light blue bar, top of this page.

These links I have quoted above will only last for 24 hours.

You will have to do your own Search of these forums, and according to your own needs determine which is best for you LCD or Plasma.
Having a look at them in the stores yourself may also help you to decide this.

Good luck, enjoy your reading and enjoy your shopping.

Couldnt be happier with Mine. PQ is superb on good signals.

I purchased becuase of the inherant advantages over plasma - ie no burn. When fed with a good DVD player, I use a HDMI upscaling Sony - DVPNS92, and a good HD STB they are sensational. When watching true HD programming like CSI and Law and ORder, they look incredible.

If in Sydney, go have a look at Sony Central World Sqaure - thats where I got mine from. They have them running on proper 1080i HD signals and to be homest no plasma's PQ has come close when you se them hooked up properly.

Without doubt, they are a bit more expensive, but there is no question when it comes to the superior image quality
