I wonder if the Motorola DCT 6412 HDTV Dual Tuner PVR Comcast DCT6412, which I intend to buy from the US, will work in Australia. It's a high definition PVR, something I haven't seen sold in Australia. Kindly advise before I make a foolish purchase.

Thanks for your answer, a minor typo, but you didn't give a reason why it won't work.

Television standards, we use DVB-T (PAL), a derivative of the European standards, and the US us ATSC (NTSC), so unless it has a universal digital tuner (which I doubt) then it cannot be used here.
