Hi guys,

Im also new to all this stuff and have recently purchased the following

Samung LA32M51B LCD
Samsung DTB-H550F HD Set Top Box
and the appropriate monster cables and power board.

We are having problems with poor picture quality occassionally, the picture will go scrambled and lose sound for 1 second or so then come back, and sometimes display Poor / No signal found. This seems to happen on channel 10 the most??

Is there something im doing wrong or do I need to have someone come and look at my antenna? We never previously had any problems with the old TV + no stb

Don't know if it's too late or not, but I was having problems with this STB not picking up some channels, and a factory reset seemed to fix the problem. I wasn't suffering scrambled picture mind you ... i simply could not receive certain channels (7 & 10) period.

It seems if you post your geographic location some of the more cluey folk here might be able to help with reception issues...

stb are designed to loose Dolby digital sound before corrupting picture so loosing sound like that possibly means not enough antenna strength.
