Hey all....

I have recently purchased a Panasonic HDT104A and I have a ghosting problem....

I'm running an InFocus Projector and 120" screen....

The image contains a ghost on the horizontal axis (Mainly noticeable with menu's or when the broadcast image has a light colour on a dark background or vice versa)....

Tried the STB at a mates house on his plasma (different town to eliminate a signal problem - different leads to eliminate a lead problem - plasma to eliminate the problem being my projector), but the same result....

Sent the STB away for repair, came back as no fault found, replace by retailer....

The retailer has replaced the STB, and the new one is the same....

Has anyone else out there got one of these and noticed a similar problem??

Cheers

Hi Nocky,

Yes I have one, and no I don't have that problem. Other than locking up on 2 occassions (must get the latest software upgrade) I have had no problems at all with it. I use it with a 106cm Philips plasma.
My understanding of digital tv is that ghosting is not usually a problem. I suggest that you escalate this to the manufacturers help desk.
