I have a toppy tf 4000t but the component out is 'orrible - S video & Composite looks better - I kid you not. I think it has something to do with the Scart to YUV transfer.
Anyhow - I'm looking to upgrade to a HD STB with Component & optic (audio) out at a reasonable price.
I bought my toppy a year ago after some great advice on this forum, hoping for a repeat performance.
I'd like to spend less then $300 if possible.
It will be connected to Pana pa50a via component & to a Yammy amp via optic.

Pretty much all HD stbs have component out. The strong srt5400 is meant to be pretty good, that's the one I want to get to replace my dgtec.
