I have the same STB but I need advice in terms of using this in Papua New Guinea.
I have just recently settled near the border between PNG and Irianjaya at a place called Tabubil. W receive our TV signal via satellite and of the 21 channels many originate from Australia .... GWN, WIN, ABC.

Now in Australia the TEAC/Sony KV-DA28M26 TV combo worked fine. But now when I try and run the TV through the set top box I receive the Bad or no signal message. Without the STB the TV is fine but not in widescreen.

Is it likely that I will have to live with this or is it perhaps due to a STB PROBLEM.

Any help will be appreciated as I don't want to send the box back to TEAC if the problem is simply due to my location.

Thanks
Brian
