STB - SONIQ DVB24 (High Definition Digital receiver)
SONIQ Video Spec states:
HD/SD interlaced/progressive output mode suported -
1080i(1125) /576P /576i /1080i(1250)
I am completely happy with the picture quality of all SD channels
BUT
There is something badly wrong with the HD channels.
Channel 90 - picture looks fine but I can see little difference between it and SD Channel 9 when watching something that is broadcast in HD.
All other HD channels (12, 70 HD, 20 HD etc show a distorted picture, either no colour, part picture is green, or else part of the screen is just noise).
I have no idea where to start troubleshooting this.
Am I right to assume that because I can get all SD digital channels that the reception is fine?
