I have a TEAC and a Samsung SD STB in Caboolture, outer Brisbane, and I often have trubble getting the SBS signal when the weather is bad. It says on the screen 'no or bad signal' all other channels are fine. Is there a cure for this problem? I have a digital arial and cables for my location. No comments about SBS please, I watch the sport ok.

SBS

When I first started watching it was snowstorm by satellite. These days it's either soccer by satellite or sex by satellite laugh.gif

Is it when there is an electrical storm? This can cause interference with the signal...

Have a look in the forum section where they talk about reception. You may need to redirect your aerial to point directly at the transmission tower. I had some problems with
ABC in Sydney until I got my street directory and compass to realign the aerial. Now it points at the transmission tower the signal is heaps stronger.

No it's when any bad weather happens.

superbunny,
You should post this in the Brisbane Viewers' Forum.

Brisbane

Unless there is obstructions in the way, use the Yagi
recommendations for SBS. Put in simply you do not have enough signal.

Any comments in the Brisbane viewers' forum.
