Just making my first attempt at uploading TAPs. Am trying to put PBK into the Auto Start sub-folder but there isn't such a folder in Program Files, or anywhere else, nor can I seem to be able to create one.
Secondly, I foolishly put the TAP into the root folder and now cannot delete it. Just get the message Cannot delete ProgressBarKeys.tap.
Really would appreciate some help here...
(I have Mar 30 2005 F/W)

When the auto start folder isn't displayed in Altair go in through the toppy, file list bring up the recorded services list then hit the >> button to take you through the toppy folders once you find the auto start folder press OK and that will take you into the folder, exit out then restart Altair.

Jason, really appreciate your help ~ when you say go into the Toppy do you mean via Windows Explorer? Because it doesn't appear in Explorer as a drive at all...
Sorry to be dense here, but I can't do what you suggest through Altair...

Ok...I think you are saying connect it back to the TV and find the auto start menu there. The PC is quite remote from the TV...can I do what you suggest, disconnect the Toppy and bring it back to the PC? Will the process still work that way if it is powered down in the meantime?

Hi Max,
Only one way to find out (But I suspect yes) - If the Auto Start folder doesn't display when going through the Toppy (yes that means connect it back to the TV) then try creating the folder yourself in Program Files.
Remember it must be "Auto Start" exactly.
I don't believe there's an easy way to delete that wayward ProgressBarKeys file if you can't do it via Altair. I'd just forget about it or reformat your harddrive if you really can't get to sleep tonight.

Thanks Peter, well, it did work just fine so the TAPs are now sitting nicely in the Auto Start folder. Will it matter that they also appear in the root directory? I guess not
Now to go and play them!
Thanks guys,
Max
