Just looking for some advice/guidance.
I have a Samsung Plasma PS42D5S and the Samsung STB DTB-9401F/XSA (connected via Composite RCA into Plasma) with a Toshiba DVD player (connected via RGB into Plasma Component and optical into the Amp). When there is changes in skin tones from shadows or a brighter/coloured light the skin tones look pasty or sick. Even their hair seems to appear pasty at times. In brighter scenes pics they appear OK. I have used the DVE disc to rectify this and it has become better but I'm still not 100% satisfied. Should I be upgrading anything, or is it my colour tones and grey scale settings I have used? I do get similar problems when I use the pre set balances (Movie, Dynamic, Standard). Has anyone had similar problems and rectified this through the Plasma settings (Brightness, Contrast, Colour, Sharpness). As mentioned I made an improvement using DVE, but I'm sure I can still get a better PQ......
